Let’s Talk Packaging at IPPE

As a grocery distributor or supplier, you put product onto your trucks and send it out into the world, confident the loads are well packed and the product looks good. But what does that same product look like when it gets where it’s going? The packaging material you use has a lot to do with the answer to that question. If your packaging lacks structural strength and exceptional protective qualities, your product could be damaged or spoiled, no matter how well you thought you packed your product.

We’re hoping to get people thinking about how their product looks when it reaches its destination, after it’s endured the rigors of the road.

At the upcoming International Production & Processing Expo in Atlanta, Tosca will transform its booth into a unique logistics experience you won’t want to miss.

We know it will look great, but our goal is to earn more than just kudos for our packing prowess. We’re hoping to get attendees thinking about what happens to their product in transit when it’s packed in corrugated versus how well it travels when packed in RPCs.

As the largest annual trade show for the poultry, meat and feed industries, the expo is the perfect place to get the word out about the superior protective qualities of RPCs. With their ergonomic handles, secure latches and interlocking tabs, which all contribute to greater structural integrity, Tosca’s RPCs certainly fit well with the show’s theme of innovation. Plus, with RPCs designed specifically for poultry, meat, produce and eggs, Tosca has the potential to help expo attendees innovate supply chain solutions that will be greener, more cost effective and more efficient.

More than 1,200 exhibitors and 30,000 visitors are expected to attend the expo, which runs from Jan. 31 to Feb. 2, 2017. If you’ll be among them, stop by our booth (C1265) and say hello — we’ll be the team with the most unique booth on the exhibit floor!
